Description

The Renshaw Fondant Icing Emerald Green can be rolled out, hand modelled, or used with cutters & moulds. It is perfect for covering & decorating cakes, cupcakes & cookies. Ideal for all your creations from novelty celebration and wedding cakes to have cake craft fun with the kids! The rolled fondant is easy to use straight from the pack.

  • Light vanilla taste to compliment your cakes.
  • Dries with a smooth finish. Surface can be painted or dusted to add detail.
  • Suitable for covering cakes of all shapes and sizes.
  • Store in a cool, dry place. Do not refrigerate or freeze. Once opened, wrap in cling film, and place inside an airtight container to prevent drying out.
  • Content: 250 gram.

Ingredients: sugar, glucose syrup, vegetable oil (palm), water, humectant: E422, emulsifier: E471, stabiliser: E415, E466, colour: E160a, E133, preservative: E202, natural flavouring.

May contain traces of: egg, soy, milk, sulphur dioxide and sulphites (E220-E228) at concentrations of more than 10 mg/kg or 10 mg/l, expressed as SO2.

Nutritional values: energy 1725 kJ / 408 kcal, fat 6,8 g of which saturated 3,7 g, carbohydrate 87,0 g of which sugars 82,0 g, protein 0,0 g, salt 0,0 g per 100 g.

  • Instructions

    • Knead the fondant on a clean, dry surface until smooth and pliable.
    • Lightly dust the work surface with icing sugar and roll out the fondant to a thickness of 2-4mm.
    • Roll the fondant up using a rolling pin and place it over the cake. Gently smooth the top with your hand.
    • Smooth the sides with the palm of your hand or use a smoother for a flawless finish. Trim away any excess fondant.
    • For small cracks: gently rub with your hand or use a flexi smoother while the fondant is still fresh.
    • For best results: first cover the cake with marzipan, buttercream or ganache before applying the fondant.
    • Store in a cool, dry place. Wrap leftover fondant airtight.
