FAQ

As soon as we have received your payment, we will ship your order as quickly as possible. This is what you can expect for deliveries in the Netherlands and Belgium*:

• Orders placed before 4:30 PM (Mon–Fri): delivered the next day.
• Orders placed after 4:30 PM (Mon–Fri): delivered the following day.
• Orders placed after Friday 4:30 PM or during the weekend: shipped on Monday, delivered on Tuesday.

*PostNL delivers parcels on time in 98% of cases.

Standard delivery via PostNL

Orders are delivered through our partner PostNL. Delivery days and times are Monday to Saturday between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM. Not at home when your order is delivered by PostNL? Then the parcel will normally be delivered to your neighbors. If delivery is not possible, your parcel will be available the next day at a designated PostNL pickup point, except on Saturdays (then it will be available on Monday). You will receive an email from PostNL with all the details. The parcel can be collected upon presentation of a valid ID.

PostNL Pickup Point

For extra convenience and flexibility, you can have your order delivered to a PostNL pickup point or parcel machine. Collect your parcel whenever it suits you, without having to stay at home. By making this conscious choice, you also contribute to more sustainable delivery and benefit from a discount:

• In the Netherlands you pay only €4.95 shipping costs (€1.00 discount)
• In Belgium you pay only €5.50 shipping costs (€0.45 discount)

During checkout you can easily see which pickup points or parcel machines are available near you. Once your order has been delivered, you will receive an email from PostNL. You then have 7 days to collect your parcel. If this is not done within 7 days, the parcel will be returned to us.

Home delivery

If you prefer to have your parcel delivered to your home, shipping costs are €5.95 in both the Netherlands and Belgium. These costs are calculated automatically and shown at checkout.

Free shipping

When you order more than €75, we will ship your parcel for free within the Netherlands and Belgium. Make a conscious choice by selecting a PostNL pickup point or parcel machine at checkout. This way, you not only benefit from free shipping but also contribute to reducing CO₂ emissions.

The remaining shipping costs can be found in the table below.

Please note: Parcels heavier than 23 kg will be split into 2 parcels. This means shipping costs will also be charged twice. However, if you order for more than €75, we will ship your order free of charge within the Netherlands and Belgium.

Shipping Costs for Other Countries

For these countries, additional customs fees may apply. These fees are the responsibility of the recipient and must be paid in the destination country.

Track Your Parcel

• After shipping, you will receive a track & trace link by email.
• Track your parcel via the PostNL app or at www.postnl.nl/en using your postcode.
• You can also adjust the delivery time or choose a pickup point.
• Missing information? Send a message to info@deleukstetaartenshop.nl.

Did Not Receive a Shipping Email

• First, check your spam/junk folder.
• Do you have an account? Go to My Orders → Track Order. You will be redirected to the PostNL track & trace page.

Parcel Shipped but Not Yet Received

• 98% of parcels are delivered the next business day.
• On the shipping day, you will receive an email with the track & trace link.
• Still unclear? Contact us at info@deleukstetaartenshop.nl.

Not Home During Delivery

• If you are not home, the parcel will be delivered to neighbors or a PostNL pickup point.
• Know in advance that you will not be home? Choose a pickup point during checkout.
• With the track & trace code, you can follow where and when your parcel will be delivered.

PostNL Delivery Times

• PostNL delivers from Monday to Saturday between 08:00 and 22:00.
• We have no control over the delivery schedule.

Deliver to Someone Else or to Work

• Ensure the name on the delivery address matches the recipient provided.
• For a work address, always include the company name.
• Note: Orders via Klarna can only be delivered to your own address.

Package delivered to a pickup point without request

If PostNL, for any reason, decides to deliver your parcel to a pickup point instead of the specified address, we are not responsible for this. In that case, please contact PostNL for more information.

Gift Wrapping

Unfortunately, we do not offer gift wrapping due to the various sizes of our items.

Pick Up Parcel at Our Office

Unfortunately, it is not possible to pick up orders at our office. All parcels are shipped via PostNL.

Pick Up at PostNL Pickup Point or Parcel Machine

• Yes, that is possible! Choose a pickup point near you during checkout.
• Benefit from convenience and flexibility.
• After delivery, you will receive an email from PostNL. You have 7 days to collect your parcel. If not collected, it will be returned.

Change Delivery Address

• Check your delivery address during checkout.
• After shipping, changing the address is usually only possible via PostNL and no longer through us.

Damaged or Missing Items

Contact info@deleukstetaartenshop.nl immediately for a suitable solution.

Multiple Parcels or Combined Orders

• Parcels heavier than 23 kg are split into 2 parcels. Shipping costs are charged twice.
• For multiple orders, you can choose delivery options per parcel.

Forgot Something in Your Order?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to combine orders. Place a new order for the additional items.
