With the FunCakes Mix for Waffles, you can easily make authentic Belgian waffles at home. These sturdy and crisp waffles are based on the traditional Liège recipe and enriched with pearl sugar for that iconic sweet crunch. Simply add butter, egg, water and pearl sugar and bake them golden brown in your waffle iron.
A perfect treat for any time of day: top with whipped cream, fresh fruit or chocolate for a festive twist.

Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature. Mix 500 g of mix, 150 g butter, 175 ml water and 1 egg (50 g) with dough hooks for 3–4 minutes into a smooth dough. Combine 200 g FunCakes Pearl Sugar with 20 g melted butter and fold into the dough in 30 seconds. Heat and grease your waffle iron. Shape the dough into 70 g balls (approx. 15 pieces). Bake for 3–4 minutes until golden brown. Top as desired with whipped cream, fruit or chocolate.
