Step 1: Melt the Deco Melts
Melt the FunCakes Deco Melts Dark Choco flavour according to the instructions on the package in the microwave.
Step 2: Make the choco spoons
Coat the inside of the heart-shaped mould with the melted Deco Melts and let it set in the refrigerator. Repeat this process 3 times to create a thick layer. Let the Deco Melts cool until they reach the consistency of pasta, then transfer them into a piping bag. Cut off the tip and fill the cavities with the melted Deco Melts. Insert a candy cane and sprinkle FunCakes Micro Marshmallows around it. Let it set in the refrigerator.
Step 3: Decorate the choco spoons
Melt any remaining Deco Melts again in the microwave until fully liquid. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the two types of nonpareils in small bowls.
Carefully remove the hearts from the mould and dip the bottom into the melted Deco Melts. Immediately dip it into the nonpareils and place it upright on the parchment paper to dry. (This sets quickly due to the thin layer and the hearts coming from the fridge.)
Attach the FunCakes Sugar Decoration to the candy cane with a bit of melted Deco Melts.
Step 4: Enjoy a delicious hot choco during the holidays!
