Betty Crocker Velvety Vanilla Cake Mix 425g

Preheat the oven to 180 °C, or 160 °C for a fan oven. Grease a 20 cm baking pan and preferably line the base with baking paper. For cupcakes, line a muffin or cupcake tin with 24 cupcake cases. Mix the cake mix with 3 medium eggs, 180 ml water or milk and 90 ml vegetable oil or 90 g melted butter. Beat by hand or with an electric mixer for 2 to 3 minutes until smooth and creamy. Do not eat the batter raw. Divide the batter between the baking pan or cupcake cases. Bake the cake for 22 to 27 minutes, or until a knife or skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Bake cupcakes for 18 to 22 minutes. Allow the cake to cool in the baking pan for 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan. Cool completely and fill or decorate with Betty Crocker Icing if desired.
