Prepare
Other materials:
- Different colors of fondant
- Lollipop stick
- Fine granulated sugar
- Bag
For the board:
Make small rolls of fondant and place them as a wave on one side of the cake board. Roll out the blue fondant and cut a wavy edge. Paste the fondant with some piping gel on the cake board. Shape the waves with your fingers. Place a small roll of white fondant over the waves and edit them with the flute/vein tool. Cut the same wavy stroke of brown fondant and place this against the blue one.
The parasol:
Cut out of the green fondant, 2 circle of approx. 7 cm and 1 circle of the yellow fondant. Cut the yellow and one green circle in parts (first cut the circle in half, than cut the two halves in parts and last cut the quarts in parts). Place the parts on the whole green circle. Place the parasol with the upside down in the flower cup. Shape a ball of fondant, already push a hole in there with a lollipop stick and place it in the middle. Let it dry. Cut the lollipop stick at approx. 7 cm and place this in the ball. After drying, place a ball of fondant on the outside of the parasol. Form a cone of brown fondant, glue the parasol in the cone and let it dry. Place the cone later on the beach.
The beach towel:
Cut out a rectangular of red fondant. Place the stripcutter in the rolling pad, roll out the a piece of fondant thin and place this over the stripcutter. Roll the fondant in the stripcutter. Repeat this for the white fondant. Place the strokes on the towel with some edible glue to create the striped towel. Cut some fringes in the towel. Place the towel on the covered board.
The bag:
Shape a rectangular block of fondant. Fold a longer rectangular piece of fondant with the same width around it. Place a small colored ball of fondant as the closure. Create a stroke with the stripcutter and attach this as the shoulder strap.
The flip flops:
Roll out two colors of fondant, place this layers on top and roll them out. Cut out 2 ovals, press the sides a little bit more in the shape of the flip flops. Cut with the stripcutter a narrow stroke. Cut the stroke in 2 short pieces, cut the pieces on one side and place them on the insoles. Place a pearl or a flower as starting point.
The bucket, sandcastle and spoon:
The bucket: Roll a smooth roll of fondant. Cut a right piece of it. Hollow one side of the roll with the ball tool. Use a knife to cut the edge. Use the stripcutter to create a handle.
Sand castle: Make a roll of brown fondant, cut of a piece in the same size of the bucket. Cut of some edges and make windows.
Spoon: Roll a thin roll of fondant. Press it flat on one side and hollow this with the ball tool. Create a hole in the other side.
Sand:
Add some fine granulated sugar in a bag and add some brown color. Knead the bag well until the sugar becomes brown. Place the sand on the beach with some piping gel or edible glue.
