Preparation: place the mix in a bowl. Cut the butter into small pieces and add it to the mix. Add the egg and knead everything by hand until a firm, uniform dough is formed. Wrap the dough in cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Lightly flour the work surface and roll out the dough. Cut out biscuits using cookie cutters or a glass and place them on baking paper or a greased baking tray. Bake for approximately 18 minutes at 175°C. Allow to cool on a wire rack until crisp.
