Step 1: Bake the cake
Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection oven 160°C) and place the baking cups in the muffin pan. Prepare 250 grams of the FunCakes Mix for Cupcakes as indicated on the package and bake the cupcakes for 20-23 minutes until light brown. Let them cool on the counter.
Step 2: Make the coatings for the cakesicles
Melt the Deco Melts as indicated on the package. Using the back of a spoon, spread the warm Deco Melts into the ice cream mold and insert a popsicle stick. Let it set properly in the refrigerator. Repeat this process at least twice to create a sturdy coating.
Step 3: Make the Cakesicles
Melt some FunCakes Melts White as indicated on the package. Crumble some cupcakes and mix the crumbs with the melted white melts until you have a nice, kneadable dough. Form balls from the dough and press them into the ice cream mold. Ensure the dough does not come over the edge of the mold. Fill the back of the mold with melted Deco Melts and let it set again in the refrigerator.
Step 4: Decorate the Cakesicles
Carefully remove the cakesicles from the mold and place them on a sheet of baking paper. Melt some more Deco Melts and put them in a piping bag. Snip a small corner off the bag and drizzle the Deco Melts over the cakesicles. Decorate immediately with sugar decorations and sprinkles.
Step 5: Celebrate with these delicious Graduation cakesicles!
