The FunCakes Mix for Sponge Cake Deluxe is the ideal base for all your baking creations. With this mix, you can bake a tall, airy and even sponge cake of professional quality. Perfect for cream cakes or cakes covered with sugar paste. Simply add eggs and water and you will have a neutral cake base ready to decorate in no time.

Preheat the oven to 175°C (convection oven 160°C). Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature. Mix the mix, eggs and water in a bowl. Beat the batter for 7 to 8 minutes on high speed and then 2 to 3 minutes on low speed. Grease a baking tin and fill it halfway to two thirds full. Bake the sponge cake in the centre of the oven. Do not open the oven during baking. The sponge cake is ready when it feels springy to the touch. Remove from the tin immediately and allow to cool on a wire rack.
