The FunCakes Mix for Carrot Cake helps you bake a moist and spiced cake with minimal effort. The mix captures the classic flavour combination of warm spices and creamy frosting. Just add water, eggs, vegetable oil and grated carrot. You can optionally include chopped walnuts or raisins to give your cake extra texture.
This cake is perfect for cozy winter days, Easter high teas or as a treat with coffee. The mix is also suitable for baking carrot cupcakes.

Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature. Preheat the oven to 175°C (convection oven 160°C). Mix 500 g of mix with 80 ml of water, 3 eggs (150 g), 150 ml (140 g) of vegetable oil and 150 g of grated carrot. Add chopped walnuts (25 g) and or soaked raisins (40 g) if desired. Mix the batter gently for 5 minutes and pour it into a 20 cm square or 22 cm round baking tin lined with baking paper and greased. Bake the cake in the centre of the oven for approx. 50 to 60 minutes until golden brown. Also suitable for making cupcakes. Bake the cupcakes for approx. 25 minutes until done.
Sugar, wheat flour, whey powder (milk), potato starch, raising agent: E450, E500, herbs and spices (cinnamon), wheat starch, salt, emulsifier: E481 (palm), thickener: E415, flavouring.
