Our baking mix for cookies
We always use one of our baking mixes while baking when it comes to the basics while baking. For baking cookies, we have the FunCakes Baking Mix for Cookies in our assortment, with this you can easily get started yourself with the kids! You only need to add (cream) butter and eggs to make the cookie dough. This ensures that you can get started right away, without having to deal with measurements. So knead, bake and then decorate. So easy!
What else do you need?
In our webshop you will find tools that you can use to make and decorate cookies. So you can find different work boards and pads to roll out your dough on, cookie cutters with which you and the kids can cut nice shapes out of the cookie dough, decorating tools including rolling sticks to use as tools during the baking and/or decorating of the cookies. You can decorate the cookies with fondant, icing or fondant icing, among other things.

How do you make the cookie dough?
For about 25 cookies of about 7-10 cm, you need 500 grams of the FunCakes Baking Mix for Cookies, 1 egg (50 grams) and 150 grams of (cream) butter. First make sure the ingredients are at room temperature before using them. Then knead all the ingredients well together and then leave to set in the fridge for at least 1 hour. Preheat the oven to 180°C (hot air oven 160°C). Roll out the dough on a floured work surface (to about 3 mm thickness). Cut out the cookies with one or more desired cutters and bake in the center of the oven for about 12 minutes until golden brown. Let the cookies cool and then decorate them as desired.
Making edible cookie dough without egg
Kids love to mess around and knead. To make it even easier you can make edible cookie dough, the cookie dough then contains no egg and you don't need an oven. For example, make Cookie Dough Easter eggs or Cookie Dough Brownies. Very easy to make and the kids will love it!
Decorating cookies
After baking, the fun part remains and that is decorating the cookies! How you want to do this is completely up to you, fortunately the possibilities are endless.
