The Bento Box has been a big trend in the baking world for a while now, and how fun is it to make a Christmas-themed Bento Box.   • FunCakes Bake Release Spray
  • FunCakes Nonpareils Gold
  • FunCakes Chocolate Decorations Colourful Christmas Set/8             
  • Wilton Holly Leaf 3D Sprinkle Mix
  • 125 g + 125 g + 300 g butter
  • 2,5 + 2,5 eggs (250 g)
  • 250 ml water

Step 1: Bake the cupcakes

Preheat the oven to 180°C (convection 160°C) and divide the baking pans into muffin baking pan. Prepare 250 grams of the FunCakes Mix for Cupcakes as indicated on the package. Divide the batter among the baking pans and bake the cupcakes for about 18-20 minutes until done. Let cool well on the counter after baking.

Step 2: Bake the bento cake

Prepare 250 grams of the FunCakes Mix for Cupcakes as directed on the package. Grease the baking pan and place the batter into the pan. Bake the cake for about 60-70 minutes. Then let cool well on a cooling rack.

Step 3: Prepare the butter cream

Make 250 grams of the FunCakes Mix for Buttercream as directed on the package. Then divide the buttercream between three different bowls. Color 1/3rd part red, 1/3rd part green and 1/3rd part light pink. Put the red buttercream in a piping bag with the #1M nozzle and the green buttercream in a piping bag with the #032 nozzle.

Step 4: Cut and fill the cake

Cut the cake twice and fill with buttercream. Then spread with the light pink buttercream. Allow to firm up in the refrigerator for a while before decorating.

Step 5: Decorate the cake and cupcakes

Using the buttercream, pipe pretty rosettes on top of the cake, leaving the center empty to create a Christmas wreath. Decorate the cupcakes with the green and red buttercream so that it becomes one. Finally, decorate the bento box with the nonpareils, chocolate decorations Christmas and the sprinkles.

Step 6: Give the Christmas Wreath Bento Box as a gift or enjoy it yourself during the holidays!
