Halloween inspiration from Deleukstethuisbakkers

Oct. 29th 2019.

Thank you for your fun baking inspiration! In this blog we're going to show all kinds of Halloween inspiration, made by you and/or one of our other followers! What is your favorite Halloween baking treat in this blog?

We asked you on our Facebook to post your most beautiful Halloween creation on our post, after which you would have a chance to be featured on our page! We were so surprised by all your fun reactions that we want to highlight your creations even more.

In this blog, we'll show different Halloween creations that were shared by you and we'll tell you what tools and ingredients are useful to use for these creations.

Monsterly creations

Halloween Monster Cupcakes

We found these two examples to fit perfectly in the category "Monsterly creations". The blue monster cake is made by Maeike Eilander-Steunebrink and the green monster cupcakes are made by Chantal Schotman.

Both creations remind us about the one-eyed figure from Monster & Co.

If you are planning to recreate one of these creations, don't forget to make our monsterly cake pops. They are super easy and delicious to make!

Pumpkin party!

Halloween Pumpkin Cookies

The most well known figure during Halloween is obviously the pumpkin, which is why we couldn't help but to share these beautiful pumpkin creations. You can make Henriette's refined cookies by using our pumpkin cookie cutter. We also thought that Barbara van Middelkoop's bloody pumpkin cake wrapped with orange rolled fondant would be fun to share with you! What is your favourite?

Creepy unicorns

When you think about an unicorn, you think of something cute. But these cakes show that unicorns are also perfect for Halloween. The green unicorn cake made by Kawther Salem looks sweet, but does associate with Halloween because of the green, purple and orange colours. You can use this tool by Katy Sue to make the horns, ears and eyes. The unicorn cake made by Jule Bahr is super creepy; the blood splatters are made using our red dip 'n drip, the spiders and combination of colours completes the picture.

Witch Cauldron Cakes

Do you want to make a witch cauldron cake for Halloween? Check out these example pictures of witch cauldron cakes. The left one is made by Caro Line and the right one is made by Ilse van de Wiel. Caro used bloody fingers and eyes, while Ilse decorated the cake with delicious candies like jelly's and twix.
