July 12th, 2023

We have known the Cookie Cake trend for a while now and it is here to stay! The Cookie Cake is not only beautiful, but also quick to make and a delicious treat. You can decorate the cake however you want and therefore perfect for different occasions! In this blog we share with you the recipe for the Cookie Cake and handy templates for the numbers, letters, punctuation and more fun figures!

Making the Basics of Cookie Cake

As a home baker, you've probably seen them pass by: Cookie Cakes. These cakes in the shape of numbers and letters are decorated with buttercream and delicious decorations. They are also called Number Cake, Alphabet Cake, Letter Cake or Cookie Cake.

The base of the cake is super easy to make with FunCakes Baking Mix for Cookies. With this, all you have to do is add butter and egg and knead into a dough. Then let the dough set in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Then roll out the dough on a floured work surface to a thickness of about 3 mm. Then cut the number, letter or shape from the dough using a template. Below you will find all the templates we made for you. Print them for free and make your own Cookie Cake!

How you are going to fill the Cookie Cake is entirely up to you! For example, you can use the FunCakes Mix for Swiss Meringue Buttercream 400 g, the regular buttercream, chocolate enchanted cream or enchanted cream. In our Cookie Cake recipes we explain exactly how to put this Cookie Cake on the table in no time!
