Join us and Bake a Flower. With the current developments surrounding the Corona virus, society is again under great pressure. That is why we want to put the spotlight on everyone who feels the consequences of this crisis extra hard and show our gratitude. Let healthcare staff, the elderly and anyone you think could use an extra helping hand know that you are giving them a heart and Bake a Flower.

What to bake?

You can bake flower shaped cookies and decorate them with royal icing, fondant or sprinkles. You can attach a stick to flower as described in this recipe.

Next to cookies, you cn also bake cupcakes and decorate them with sugar flowers. You can buy ready-to-use sugar flowers or make them from fondant with flower cutters. All baking recipes with flowers are collected for you at the Bake a Flower recipe page.

How to avoid personal contact

Do you want to bake for someone who is not allowed to have visitors or do you rather not come close to someone? There is a solution for that. It’s very easy to ship sugar cookies via the post. Wrap the cookies in treatbags and send them in a box that fits through the postbox. Do you rather not want to send it? You can pack your treat in a cake box and set it on someone’s doorstep; ring the bell and make sure you’re two meters from the door when the person opens the door.

Important information

When you are coughing or having a cold DON’T bake for others. Work as clean as possible when you don’t have these health problems and follow all RIVM & WHO guidelines and restrictions.
